My Story

I qualified as a shamanic practitioner in 2016, and am based at Bodywise, in Manchester city centre, as well as working online.

Shamanism has been a key part of my own healing journey and has enabled me to meet my issues with courage and a deepened connection to myself, to find my inner resources and to feel deeply connected to the earth and nature. Through this work, I have found my personal power and with it a deeper sense of creativity and belonging.

From these personal experiences and having witnessed similar changes in others, I am deeply passionate about the impact of this work and feel honoured to offer this service.

I provide a safe, welcoming space to support your reconnection to your own power and heal your past wounds. I invite you to nurture and develop your authenticity. Over time this work can bring about powerful and fundamental change, equipping you with skills to tackle the challenges of living in this modern world.

As well as using a range of shamanic practices, I use tools from different therapeutic approaches and am a Reiki Master, a Deep Democracy facilitator, and hold a Certificate in Counselling Skills.

For over 20 years I have worked in the field of social justice, working with marginalised communities. This includes 15 years working within the homelessness sector; more recently I have been working with grassroots organisations to enable systemic change and ultimately more equitable and fairer systems. I have also facilitated a number of systems change programmes and brought in deep democracy methods to groups and organisations to ensure everyone’s voice is heard.

Within all this work, I firmly believe that people and communities are best placed to resolve their own issues, given the resources, space and capacity.

I currently live in Manchester with my family and enjoy writing, walking and spending as much time in nature as possible.
